I have a Acer Aspire 3690, celeron M 430 @1.73Ghz. I looked on this forum and came to the decision that I would upgrade my cpu to a T2400 dual core. Sadly it didnt work. Im pretty rubbish at the technical stuff, but it fitted and switched on but just blank screen and nothing. So any help would be really appricated. Thank you.

That T2400 should work. Given that you have a 945 chipset (can you confirm that? Google suggests that you have it), you should be able to use any Socket M processor. Have you updated your BIOS and/or ensured that the T2400 isn't dead? Did you make sure to the lock-down the processor after you dropped it in the socket?

Thank you for your very quick responce, Yeah i thought it would work too, and i have no idea how i would know my chipset (sorry). I havent updated my BIOS but I will do that and install the chip again, I did lock down the processor, but I dont know if the T2400 is dead.
