I've been reading about that it is possible to change cpu in most laptops but not in all. Would anyone mind telling me if I could install tl-56 or tl-60 instead of tl-50 cpu in my notebook? I am running newest version of bios (3.05) if i will change cpu shall i change anything else?
    thx for answers

You can upgrade, but chances are it won't be worth the money. Most you would have to do is update the BIOS.

As part of the 5100 series the aspire 5112 can be upgraded to any socket s1 AMD processor TL-56,TL-60 etc (90nm or 65nm). You won't need a BIOS update as version 3.05 will recognize any current socket s1 processor. :)
