    Acer Aspire 5560 Upgrade battery?

    Hi All - first post here. I got the Aspire 5560 (-7414) this summer and I love the computer, nice display, speed, etc. However, the battery life is barely 3 hours.

    Is there an aftermarket battery that is compatible which could increase the battery life? I don't mind if it is a bit bulky, I would just like to use my laptop as a laptop, not consistently as a desktop.

    Take out your battery and take a picture of any and all information printed on it (or: go old school and write everything down on a piece of paper).

    Now, boot up your system and put each unique piece of info into a google search along with the phrase 'compatible replacement battery' and/or 'high capacity battery'.

    With these kind of specific inquiries it is sometimes best to help yourself. ;)
