Is it possible to upgrade the screen in this laptop to WUXGA? and also, is it possible to get a matte screen, rather than a glossy screen?

    Cheers.

Can't upgrade, I tried everything. If you can find a 1366x768 matte screen then it should work.

You can always just slap a matte screen protector on your computer (I am using a Photodon, and it is working great; my 2730p is a Tablet PC so I use the Wacom stylus on it all the time, and it holds up great -though the one I have adds a bit of "grain" to the screen's clarity)

They will cut a protector to your screen size if they do not have an option expressly available -you tell them the dimensions. They also have their "multi pack" that has all versions of their screen protectors in 2" sample squares; $5 shipped -I got one of those, and ended up using them for random things (like on my ipod classic's screen)

Thanks Meaker, I was looking around, and apparently you can get matte screens for the 5935G, although I havn't found anywhere that sells them yet. None on ebay either, just Glossy ones. It's a real shame that you cant get a nice 1080p screen. It would have worked great. - Im loque from ocUK btw :)

Agent - Thanks for the suggestion. The matte screen protector may be something I will look into, although I have tried matte screen protectors for my Blackberry, and they mess up the colors on the screen. I hope it isnt the same for laptop screens.
