You have a Socket P. You can upgrade to the following:

    Merom Core:
    Core 2 Duo T7300 2000 4096 800
    Core 2 Duo T7500 2200 4096 800
    Core 2 Duo T7700 2400 4096 800
    Core 2 Duo T7800 2600 4096 800
    Core 2 Extreme X7800 2600 4096 800
    Core 2 Extreme X7900 2800 4096 800

    Penryn Core:
    Core 2 Duo T8100 2100 3072 800
    Core 2 Duo T8300 2400 3072 800
    Core 2 Duo T9300 2500 6144 800
    Core 2 Duo T9500 2600 6144 800
    Core 2 Extreme X9000 2800 6144 800

Both merom and penryn core will work with your chipset. Merom is the older generation cpu's (65nm) so grab yourself a Penryn chip (45nm). I would recommend the T8300 as bang for buck.

The x9000 would work but its not worth the $$$. See this guide for more info
