Was just browsing the web and came across this article at liliputing.com

Seems like Acer is working on a 10.1" netbook based on a AMD V105 paired with a ATI Mobility HD 4225 (Includes HDMI out).
Also features a new chipset too, AMD M880G that supports DDR3 ram.

Acer Ferrari One was too expensive for me and also too hot compared to Intel based netbooks and culv notebooks, so this actually sounds like a sweet deal.

Also, another article was mentioning that Asus is cooking up a two new models of the Eee PC 1201, named 1201K and 1201X.
Maybe Asus is working on a similar specced netbook?

Looks like the original post was made here about the new Acer Aspire One model.

this would a nice deal if the XGP worked with it just like it did with Ferrari one... would make this very nice. I also heard about this on notebookcheck.net... but what makes me wonder is how much better is 4225 compared to 4200? and if it has DDR3 RAM , it should be a big improvement.

Seems like the ATI Mobility HD 4225 will have 384mb dedicated vram, but i guess it will be slightly underclocked.
Should still be better than the HD 3200 thats on the current AMD netbooks.

Maybe il actually consider getting this netbook (Or similar with 12" screen), since my notebook is getting old, and ATI Legacy drivers suck with Windows 7.
