No, you can't. It's an integrated Intel chip, this means it's soldered to your mobo.

Yup, Intel IGP is soldered onto the motherboard. I would save up for a new notebook or sell this one.

Actually, the P6100 Pentium is Arrandale based, so the IGP is actually part of the CPU (like all Arrandales), and not soldered to the motherboard. Still not upgradable separately, though.

Now, in theory, there might be a connector on the motherboard for a separate video card, if the AS7741Z ever came in a version with a discrete card... but that's really hard to say (and might involve a motherboard swap).

You could possibly do a motherboard swap which is what I was going to do. I just upgraded my laptop from one that was pretty much exactly like yours. Just sell your laptop and put a bit of extra money down to buy a new one like I did. I have never ever been happier with this laptop than I have ever been with another machine.

Yes, you could possibly upgrade to a 7738g motherboard with the MXM 3.0 slot or a 7745g motherboard with the ATI 5850 built in.
Personally if I found either for under 200$ I would go for it.

A $145-$175 GTX460 DIY ViDock per sig will work great with your Intel HD system. Though looks like you don't have a expresscard slot so please ensure you can access the mPCIe wifi card via underside covers instead.

You're talking about buying an external graphics booster? Those are extremely expensive and don't really give the boost that people need... honestly they're a discontinued project by Dell. Op should either sell his PC and buy a better one like I did or do what niffcreature said. Personally if the OP knows what he is doing and gets a board for under $200 I would definitely go with what niff said about getting a 5850.
