    Hey there.

Just got one of these cheap, but noticed that the right speaker is quieter than the left speaker, and it makes a crackling sound when the volume is too high. My guess is that its knackered, and basically needs replacing.
The only problem is that I can't seem to find anywhere that sells replacement speakers for this laptop.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set of speakers? or know of any other speakers that will work in this laptop?

    Cheers.

Are you still under Acer warranty? 3820TG are a relatively new model and most should still be under warranty.

Besides Ebay, you could try looking at the NBR Marketplace or have a mod move this to the Acer forum where you can get more people who own Acers to reply to this.

moving it to the Acer forum, might be a good idea. I should have thought of that myself.
It is still under warranty, but to me, its a very simple thing to fix, and should take no more than an hour at the most. I really do not want to have to go through the hassle of sending it back to Acer, unless there is something seriously wrong with it. (faulty motherboard for example)

I would much rather replace the speakers myself, if I can find somewhere to get some replacements from.

I have tried ebay, nothing for the 3820TG unfortunatly, but I will have a look on the NBR marketplace. Cheers.
