    I have an Acer 5630 (5635WLMI) and the DVD Rom is not working properly. I want to replace it with something better. What should I buy?

    Your choice may be influenced by what you can find. Liteon and NEC are two brands I would recommend. There is an easy region-free fix for the Liteon drives.
