    Hi
    My laptop Screen is black when i start my laptop i see acers logo for sec and after that it is black. When i press fn and f5 and f6 repetedly the lcd flickers.
    Is is inverter or ccfl lamp and when can i find one that fits my laptop

    No way to tell until you try another inverter (or screen + backlight)
    On ebay you can find an inverter, try that first.

    what does inveter do?
    as i said it flikers when u press fn and f5 f6 and u can se the picture for few sec .

    When my lcd worked when ever i started my pc lcd was a littlebit red for few sec (10-15 sec) before it got white like it should be.

    and now when it isnt working it sometrimes the backlight works and it stays on for a while.

    Possibly, the only way to tell is use a known good hardware to rule out one or the other.

    Inverters are cheap but Acer screens are dirt cheap also (15.6" LED is ~98 USD)
