    HI,

I am thinking of buying an acer ferrari 4005 and upgrading it to 2GB. What would be the name of the card and what would be the cost. I have trouble understanding how it works...

    Thanks
    Karina

Well, under a panel on the bottom of the notebook, there are two slots for memory - the Ferrari 4005 comes with two 512MB sticks. In order to upgrade to 2GB, you will need to purchase two 1GB sticks.

I recommend Kingston, Crucial, or Corsair memory. Good reliable brands. Newegg or ZipZoomFly have memory for good prices.
