Hi guys, so my laptop was broken a few months ago, my cpu overheated.
So i brought him into a shop right, but when it came back the most funny thing happened!

My 500GB HDD became a 250GB one, its kinda getting on my nerves now since its almost full, now is this something wrong with my hardware or software ?
Or did they basicly just rip me off, ive been wondering that a long time

Start > Run > Type "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotes > OK

You should see the partitions at the top, and the available drives on the bottom [this includes optical drives and flash drives]. To the left, you should see the full capacity of the hard drive. It should be about 465GB. If it reports considerably less, you were either ripped off, or the hard drive was replaced also. If it's the latter, you should request the old hard drive back. If it's the former, you should have a long talk with the owners of the repair shop. :D And never go there again.
