Is there a reason Acronis won't let me clone my ssd to a specific partition on the hdd? It wants to wipe the hdd and use all of it. This is Acronis 2010.

    Limitation of the software.

Can only clone physical to physical (SSD/HDD).

You can always try backing up the source partition and restoring to the destination partition. Usual tidbits about sizes and 'restore signature', etc. apply; however, this is a common method.
