The 'Hitachi Feature Tool" operators manual lists this laptop HDD as being supported in the AAM (Automatic Acoustic Management) function.

When I used this tool I get this screen:

While looking at the manual for the drive itself it gives "Command Codes (Hex)" and "Feature Register (Hex)" characters for enabling. That is over my head.

Is there an easier way to 'enable" this function?
