I've seen adapters to run a 2.5" HDD in the optical bay of certain laptops. Does anyone know if one exists that would fit an acer TM4101wlmi? I'm having IDE controller issues and would like to try to run my HDD on the secondary IDE channel to see if it's just the primary channel thats foobed.

You will need a notebook with ''ultrabay'' or something similar to do so, by the looks of it you notebook does not support that.
