Well, I've come up with a crazy way to upgrade by HP dv5000t laptop (which has a NVIDIA go 7400 graphics card).
The best graphics card right now on the market is probably the X1800XT.. It has a PCI-Express interface and my laptop supports CardExpress..
So.. I was thinking to buy this PCI-Express to CardExpress adapter - http://www.getcatalyst.com/adapter_moreInfo_pcie2exp.html
And connect the X1800XT to it.. Yes.. the card would hang out, but I'd only be using it when connected to an AC power supply..
I truly want to get rid of my PC and only thing that is stopping me is a good graphics card.. I think this might work..
has anyone tried this before?

*hugs Ice-tea* I know how you feel hun, I wish they made it more obvious you couldnt use a expresscard for graphics cards.

As a rule, I don't hug tigers. Self preservation and stuff. But I love you too, though
