I've an hp 6510b with 1 gb of Qimonda ram:
Qimonda 64T128021HDL3SB
DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 333 Mhz) (4-4-4-12 @ 266 Mhz) (3-3-3-9 @ 200 Mhz)
I's lime to know which other 1 gb module to add.
Kingston, Corsair or OCZ ?

Any o the three brands will do.
the T7250 has 800 MHz FSB, the RAM will run at 400 MHz. Check the RAM timings with the installed RAM, so that they match at 400. -
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
That's crap. No Intel mobile chipsets at the moment support 800MHz (effective) memory. Even if you buy 800MHz modules, they'll only run up to 667MHz (effective). It also should not matter much if your second stick of memory has dissimilar timings either. -
Who is telling him to buy DDR2 - 800 modules ?
-
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
You're telling him to look for 400MHz memory. In a DDR world those are 800MHz modules. -
I know only that all modules are unbuffered and not ECC but I don't know the timings.
-
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
... and I'm telling you not to worry about the timings. Tighter timings are always better, but you aren't going to to feel the difference. At all. Just get any 1GB, 667MHz (or 800MHz, if you really want, though it will only run at 667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM (preferably with a lifetime warranty) and you're good to go. -
Does the brand make no difference ?
-

Nothing you will notice. All the physical chips themselves are made by the same memory cartel anyways.

THIS POST HAD SOME WRONG INFORMATION: now corrected
For the santa rosa platform, the memory can operate at most 333 MHz, hence the DDR2 - 667. If you add DDR2 - 800, it will still run at 333 MHz.
The RAM timings is shown in your post. It is 5-5-5-12 @ 333 MHz
So look for RAMs which are DDR2 - 667 with timings 5-5-5-12, unbuffered.
I haven't seen ECC notebook RAMs, anyone ? -
I've to buy one of those models but I don't have anyone of it.
-
Also Transcend is at the same level of Corsair/Kingston/OCZ ?
-
Guys...there is no staying in sync or running at 333 or 400 depending on demand.
Intel does not under any circumstance or modification run DDR2 memory at 400MHz (800MHz effective). (As of 5/20/08)
Stop typing misinformation. -
And thus ?!?
-
Doesn`t increasing the FSB make santa rosa run the RAM at 800Mhz?
To the Op, Kingston, Corsair,Transcend,A-Data,Kingmax,OCZ,Patriot,they`re all good brands... -
I have edited the prevoius post. There was indeed something wrong. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
Adding a so-dimm module
