    Advent 7105 and Firewire

    Heya guys,

    Got a little problem i would appreciate some help with. I have the Advent 7105 laptop, and i have recently got a canon ZR500 camcorder, the problem is, i seem to have no-way of connecting the camcorder to my laptop. The laptop has no built-in firewire port or PC card port (that i can find!), I was just wondering if I had missed something.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,

    Hi Brad,
    Do you have a link to the Advent laptop you have so we could take a look at it?

    I'm surprised you can't connect the camcorder via USB.
