Should I buy Transcend, Jetram SO-DDRII 4GB (2x2GB) PC5300 667MHz.
I wanna know someones opinion. On the firm and type. Is it going to provide a good supply and work smoothly. Because one time I bought a bad pair of RAM's so my PC couldn't even startup!
So waiting for your advice, people!

I love to stick with either OCZ RAM for my laptops or Corsair RAM from my PCs
-
Well on my PC right now I'm using Corsair but my laptop is stuck with 2GB of Samsung RAMs.
CPUz showed that its from Samsung.
I didn't know they made RAMs for laptops!
And the MHz on my current RAM is very low 333MHz only. -
Like I said Crossair or OCZ is the best for money and performance
-
Usualy, the cheapest with lifetime warranty is the best for your money and performance.
Performance differences does not exist between the different sticks you know.
So go with the lowest priced with lifetime warranty. -
And wanted to ask is more MHz better? And should the MHz be equal to each other like 667 and 667? -
Yeah if you have a 667Mhz and a 333Mhz the 667Mhz card would underclock itself to run parralle with the 333Mhz card
-
More mhz doesn't mean it's going to change anything in your laptop, so no.
And on the second, aslong as you get atleast 667Mhz, the sticks will work fine, all sticks has to comply to JEDEC standards so they have to work with each other aslong as one stick is atleast as fast as the other or near each other in speed. So no problem.
So if you buy 800Mhz memeory for example it'll run at only 667Mhz anyways, as the laptop do not go higher or need more. Even if it'd run at higher speed it won't be noticeable in performance, you don't buy ram to get higher fps in games or such, only to take use of alot of ram for everything you might do, which will speed up in one way. -
Now I won't spend money on 800MHz RAMs for my laptop.
If they are going to run the same as 667MHz.
Anyways thanks for the information, really useful and helpful! -
Hehe, sometimes you can find higher speed memory which is actually cheaper than the slower. So if you find 800Mhz memory for a better price than 667Mhz, then get it
-
There is no difference between for example, OCZ, corsair, g.skill, patriot, kingston and such as they all use the same micro-chips.
