I have a HP Pavilion dv5215us laptop. My original reg capacity battery still works fine, although it only lasts 25 minutes. I ordered an aftermarket hi-cap and 2 in a row do the following.

    1. HP Battery Check: every 2 minutes, (red) replace flashes and sometimes pwr % drops....then goes back to normal charging (green)

    2. On battery pwr, laptop slows down and or freezes every 10 minutes or so...after a minute it comes back alive. Sometimes on batt pwr the batt indicator by the clock drops and then comes right back up. If I plug in ac during the slow down, it speeds right back up. Works perfectly on ac.

    3. Is there anything I can do, or are they both bad, or just incompatible? Previously, I had a hi-cap batt from a diff mfg and it was fine before it quit.
