Hi guys,
The MOBO of my M15x just died so I called dell tech support to be sure of the problem and they told me that indeed, my MOBO was dead. Then I called to sales to know how much was the new MOBO going to cost me, they told me that the cost was of $250 bucks and that they were going to send me a purchase order to my mail with all the details, but they never send it. So I called again, and this time the guy who was helping me told me that the cost of the new MOBO was of $500 bucks
, then to be sure I went to dell live chat and the person who was talking with me told me the same, that the new refurbished MOBO costs $500 dlls (Assembly,Printed Wiring Assy,Notebook,Alienware,M15X,Burn 3 (0G5VT)) Im not going to pay $500 for a MOBO, they are kind of retards to think that someone is going to pay that much for it
, so I searched on the net and found this one at aprox the same price that the first dell agent told me Alienware M15x Motherboard | Laptop Motherboards | Ztronics so I wanted to know if someone knows a website where I can find this damn MOBO cuz it seems like the only ones to sell it on the USA are the guys at ztronics, and my other question is if someone knows if the guys at dell have any idea of what they are talking about when giving prices, cuz 2 different versions form the same company plus a website that is kinda supporting the info that one of those guys told me gets me confused
. Thanks.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Is it still within it's warranty period, or did you drop/spill liquid on it?
Alienwares are known to be uber expensive, especially the older Area 51 models (which are very difficult to get parts for). You might try a 3rd party source of motherboards but you'll most likely get a refurbished motherboard. -
Nah, didn't dropped anything over it, I was playing when it suddenly turned off and didnt want to turn on anymore. I googled a little and found out that it happens occasionally without any reason
. The bad thing is that my warranty just ended 1 month ago and I didnt extend it so now I must buy the MOBO
. And Im talking about the new M15x model, not the older Area-51 m15x.
Alienware M15x Motherboard??
