    I am desperately trying to restore my Alienware M18x R2 Laptop and was wondering if the M18 motherboard is the same board as the M17?

    I have lost the clips that clamp the keyboards ribbon cable to the motherboard and same with the Hard Drive ribbon.

    Also would a M17 keyboard fit a M18 as the price difference between the two are astronomical.
