    Does anyone knows if the alienware m17x mid 2013 model gpu could be upgraded from gtx 780m 4gb to gtx 980m 4 gb or higher frame buffer ? Thanks for the response

    As far as I am aware its not been tried on the 980m. I know someone has managed it to an 880m and there was talk about someone attempting to the 965m but unsure if the latter went ahead.

    Worth checking out eh M17x section of the forum, a quick search there will throw up whos managed to do it or not
