Hey guys i currently have just ordered a m17x with the stock wifi card. Now the wifi router i have has a horrible signal ... it can go to a max of 2 rooms and then it vanishes , i do not get signal on the ground floor either. Although i plan to connect my lappy through cables but not always. So is there any wifi card with a long range and what card would you suggest ?? ( I would prefer with bluetooth ..) My main aim is range. So even if the killer 1202(or any other wifi card) can do the work i wouldn't mind buying that.

    Thanks

Keep in mind that poor reception can be the result of many things the least of which can be your wifi card. The only way to know for sure is to test different brands under the same scenario. That said, sometimes improving the signal can be just a matter of relocation from one side of the room, to the other.

You said your router is not very good. I would suggest getting a new router first. While the price of the hardware may be more than a new card for your M17x, a new card may be useless if your router sucks.
