Looking for a 128MB SSD Sata III with good performance, reliability and price.
There's so much to choose from and is a bit overwhelming. I don't want to spend months on end looking for one.
    Thanks for any help!

Hey SuperBee, (A fellow Dodge FAN! ) Generally and in no order - Crucial, intel or Samsung. If you are in not hurry monitor the following thread for good deals; for example http://forum.notebookreview.com/not...830-series-2-5-128gb-ssd-tigerdirect-com.html
I am fairly sure there will be good deals Black Friday - Cyber Monday.
After doing a lot of recent research I would not pay over $100 for 128 GIG
Just found this Amazon.com: Crucial 128 GB m4 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s CT128M4SSD2: Electronics

I've been reading about the Samsung 830. Seems to be a good SSD. I would think the 840 would be an improvement over it. This however seems to be the opposite, as it has slower speeds than the older model. The pro version is the exception but seems to be way too expensive for what you get.

I have had good luck with Samsung SSD's as well as Crucial. I have used the 830, 470 and a Crucial C300. Have not used an Intel, but hear they are excellent drives. As JOSEA said, I would not pay over $100 for 128 Gb SSD. I bought mine off the bay and the most I paid for a 128 gig was $85. Paid as low as $60 for a used C300. I think the 830 would fit the bill for you.

Yeah, I think I will go with a 830. It's only slightly slower than the 840 pro which is too expensive.

Plextor m5s 256gb can be had for about $175. It comes within spitting distance of the 840pro and trounces the M4 even though they are based on the same controller. Also much more consistent than Sandforce. I won't recommend the 128gb version since it seems to tank performance really hard for some reason.
