For starters, don't cross post in multiple sub-forums, it is poor forum etiquette and against forum rules.
Did you try downloading the latest Nvidia drivers? It should be 285.62 for all modern GPU's. -
Hello,
I am sorry but i am really in need for a way to install drivers. As, i have installed Nvidia 260GTX in my Acer 7738G and its working fine with Standard Graphics Drivers but, due to unknown reason the drivers are not automatically detecting hardware installed i.e Nvidia 260GTX. I don't know why could it be bios not supporting or do i need modified bios for this or what how people on youtube done that any idea would be great.
I have already checked with different updated drivers even i tried it while installing windows 764bit as Alienware site has got drivers for only win7 64bit but no chance.

You just are not giving us enough info.
What happens when you try and install them? What versions have you tried? Did you try installing the ones I linked to you?
X86 usually refers to a 32bit operating system, X64 (in driver packages) to a 64bit operating system (though both are sub sets of the X86 instruction set) so which do you have?
I am a little worried you may have gone a little out of your depth here. -
Hello,
Now let me explain Step by Step.
I installed Dell Alienware m15x Nvidia 260GTX 1Gb in my Acer 7738G the previous card was Nvidia 240Gt.
Upon installation of new card my laptop worked normal with standard Graphics Drivers and i used it for more than 1 hour.
The concern is that when i try to install/update graphics card drivers it simply says no nvidia hardware installed/detected installation aborted.
Now all i want to know why my system not detecting New Nvidia 260GTX card although its showing desktop and everything.
I thought it require a bios update/downgrade but who? my Motherboard or my graphics card.
I tried drivers available at Dell website, nvidia website and some other old versions but no one is detecting my 260gtx hardware. So, do i have to force install the drivers. would the force installed drivers give me 100% performance?

Are you downloading the latest ones from Nvidia? It also could mean your card is bad if it isn't detecting it properly...or you bricked your card from improper install.

So the drivers i linked to you in the original thead, you totally ignored my effort to help you?
-
I have checked the driver and they are also giving the same error no nvidia hardware detected.
Is there any bios update for nvidia 260GTX i can try? it doesn't seem to me
as a hardware issue. But, this is why i prefer experienced people advice.
Thanks for the drivers i forget to mention it in my previous post. -

What about manually installing the drivers?
-
Hello,
This is what i am asking please let me know if i install drivers manually will it give 100% performance. and about manually installing mean forced installing yes. I will try that today at home and update you on results. Thanks

When you manually install the Nvidia drivers they install the rest of the software as well IIRC.

With all the different drivers you seem to have tried. Perhaps you should download a free driver cleaning program and mop up any remnants of nvidia driver you left behind before continuing. Conflicting driver remnants will cause you problems
Once that is done restart and get the very latest driver from nvidias website as Meaker has advised and custom install them to make sure they install properly.
Btw congrats on your new upgrade, may it grant your notebook further gaming life
