    will there be any difference in performance between DDR2 667MHz - 1x2GB and Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz - 2x1GB with Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT Graphics 256MB?

    10% less maximum bandwidth. So as said (CW) don't think you will see a difference unless you like running benchmarks like I do, oh and definitely not in gaming.
