Has anyone found any benchmarks with a Q9000? Perferably with a Sager 8662. I cannot find any and im curious as to how it stacks up to in current games and in future games.

i appreciate you for posting your results Vicious. However I fear that any benchmarks you get may be as a result of you crossfire gpu's rather than the cpu. As a result your setup does not really show how strong just the cpu is. Thats why I was asking for a setup on a 8662/m860etu. being that it only has one 260m gtx. or are there any websites that have a controled setup with the cpu being the only variable.

Indeed this shows the results of my crossfire 4870's and the Q9000 but it addresses the main concerns I have seen on the forums in regards to the Q9000.

    > Is 2.0ghz fast enough for games
Answer Yes - Infact having dual high end cards only means I need MORE cpu power to keep up with the gpu's.

    > Comparison from 2.0 to 2.3 ghz given to show the gains in a higher cpu speed.

Also I do have a wprime bench in there, that is cpu only so gives you an indicator of how powerfull the cpu is. that 14second run is way faster than any dual core run :p

If you now want gaming results of a different machine taking the data from my results you just now need to find a machine with the video card your looking at.

Put 1 +1 together and you should have a good idea of what to expect.
