I have a Dell E6420 that has an mSATA port. I already have a Corsair Performance Pro 250gb drive. Will I see any benefit by adding an mSATA SSD?

From what I know mSATA wouldn't give you much benefit if you already have a SSD. Some manufacturers let you use the slot as a cache drive?
But for the most part unless you need extra storage - for example being unable to fit another SSD into your laptop then the mSATA slot could be utilized as the boot drive so that you could free up some space on your SSD. -
In a lot of cases where you see someone considering a mSATA, they are planning on having the mSATA in combination with a mechanical hard drive, allowing said user to have a fast Windows/programs drive as well as mass storage for files.
You will still see benefit from a mSATA drive in the terms of extra storage space, though your current SSD will likely be faster than whatever mSATA drive you're looking at.
Any benefit from an mSATA drive?
