I am due to get my Manibal Lotus P151HM1 (Sager NP8130) soon.

I am looking to install a SSD for the primary hard drive.

Could you please advise me if there is any compatibility issues with any SSD with the below configuration. Or which might be a suitable SSD for the below config.

I read somewhere that sager laptops have compatibility issues with all SSD except intel.

    Chipset: Inter H65
    Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM
    Memory: (2x4GB) 8192MB, PC3-10660/1333MHz DDR3
    Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M 1.5GB GDDR5
    Hard Drive: 500GB 7200rpm 2.5" SATA 300
Optical Drive Bay: 8X Multi DVD+/-R/RW RAM Dual-Layer Drive
    Wireless: Bigfoot Networks Killer™ Wireless-N 1103 802.11A/B/G/N LAN Card

    :)

Sager/Malibal should work fine with any brand SSD. They just only sell Intel themselves. Intel is the top SSD on the market in terms of reliability. But Crucial and Samsung are also very highly regarded, I'd look at either the Intel 510, Crucial M4, or Samsung 830 (note the 830 literally came out days ago).

Note that the 510 and M4 have nearly identical hardware (same controller, same NAND manufacturer), the only differences being in the size NAND used (2x nm vs 3x nm) and the firmware.
