There are some times when I want to charge all my batteries quickly, so I'm thinking about getting a charger of some sort so I can charge 2 or more batteries in parallel. It may also come in handy when I simply want to charge the batteries but not to use the notebook, so I can charge without turning the notebook on.

Is there any easy way to do this? Should I mod a PSU or something?

My current notebook is a Clevo P150EM. I may get something else soon though.

BTW, is it true that all modern notebooks can hot swap batteries when plugged in?

It's going to take a bit more than a modded PSU to charge a laptop battery, as it want's a computer to talk to. But fortunately, yes, you can just swap batteries. Was it ever any different?

    Thanks.

I don't remember the model but I used to see/hear people causing damage to notebook or battery by hot swapping years ago.
