    Got a Legion Y530 laptop with 144Hz IPS panel. Hardware ID is LGD05CF and I can't find any info on it. Anyone can help?

    +1 on this. I would LOVE to upgrade my Y530 to the 144hz screen, as the 1080p IPS panel's response time is noticeably slower than my last laptop. Other than that, I am a huge fan of this laptop especially with the discount I got it for. But the screen just irks me. I just can't seem to find anything or anywhere to buy that panel.

    EDIT:
    Disregard above panel, that looks like its the 60Hz version from 2016.

    THE QUESTION IS:
    Are you simply receiving that same exact panel from 2016 but with faster microprocessors that permit it to reach 144Hz refresh rate reliably?

    ADDITIONALLY:
    How did you pull your submodel? From the PDF manual for your machine, physical panel inspection, or some hardware identification program running on your machine?
