How common is this practice, do the current mobile chipsets with gigabit ethernet support jumbo frames? Do any manufacturers provide driver level support for such?

I've been a little confused about wired support on laptops (discovering the XPS line didn't support gigabit speeds was kind of stunning to me) so I'm wondering if there is any support at all for a niche feature like big frame sizes.

My Voodoo laptop has gigabit ethernet. I have never heard of jumbo frames though, I will have to research it. By the way, I have a Marvel gigabit ethernet controller.

I think the Clevo D901C and the m570ru both have gigabit ethernet.
