Im preparing for an upgrade on ivy bridge, and seems clevo is going to support msata SSDs so finally i might be able to go down to 15'', but im looking to see if there are any Sata III mSata SSDs?

Abdula, I found this one Runcore mSATA Pro V Mini SATA-III SSD | Active Media Products - 30 60 or 120 GIG (120 GIG is over $300 /US on amazon)
Sorry but I have no idea how reliable it is. -
I'd wait for the new Samsung 830 mSATA (up to 256GB and much better than the Sandforce controller), though AFAIK there are no laptops that currently support SATA/600 for mSATA.

Even if there was, there's little practical difference between SATA II and III unless you're putting a heavy load on the controller, which typical notebook usage does not do. The real benefit of a SSD is the near instantaneous seek times, which won't change going from SATA II to III.

Definitely agree w/ ZaZ.

Thanks to all for your replies. I would like if possible to avoid sanforce, but if nothing is available by the release of ivy bridge / nvidia gpus, ill probably give a shot to that runcore.
Im really interested in the Samsung 830 if they were to release it as msata it would be perfect, any chance of vague target date? just trying to decide between 15'' or 17'', mostly will depend on the ssd. -
