Recently I just bought the third generation palm size HDTV from Radio Shack. The picture quality and reception ARE MUCH BETTER than the previous two generations. I wonder if there is the same revolution happening in the laptop HDTV tuner market. Does anyone know if there are new Expresscard TV tuners coming to the market that use better and newer chip and technology? Thanks.

Consider though that in the year or so since HDTV has gone mainstream in the US all of the stations have had chances to adjust their coverage patterns and power output.

Where I live, the 8 HDTV broadcasters were all messing with things for about 100 days after the cutover as they received feedback from viewers and were running their own tests. Most of the stations increased power and all of them were playing with coverage patterns.
