    Windows: XP, RAM: 1G
Under very intensive uses, Task Manager reports the Physical Memory is about 800MB which means that 200 MB are available.

So my question is if upgrade to 2 G RAM, is there any increase performance?

Probably not--if you are not accessing the swap/pagefile you may not see much of a benefit. If you use more intensive programs in the future or upgrade to Vista you may see a performance jump. If you have no complaints now I'd hold onto your cash. What are you complete specs? It may be that something else is the bottleneck if you feel the computer is slow.
