Does anyone know of a place in Chicago or close to that, which does Electroless nickel immersion gold (ENIG)? I need to look into doing that to my heatsink and copper plate to work with Indium solder.

if i want to use indium solder on copper I have to use nickle gold plating on the copper surfaces otherwise the copper and indium will diffuse together and loose their bond strength and thermal conductivity.

or buy nickle gold plating pens but i rather not have to buy that. i can get it done real cheap if i can jump in on a run but if i have to payh for a full run i might as well buy some pens

for the most part. i wont do this if it will cost me more then a hundred bucks. it wotn cost much if i can get into a run that is already planned/going but if i have to apy for my own run it is not worth while
