I just received a new Thinkpad T61 with a 15.4" WXGA screen. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the native resolution of this screen is only 1280 x 800.

Is there any way to get a higher resolution? My graphics card supports up to 1600 x 1200.

Sorry to say it but you're stuck. The only way to get a higher resolution is to use an external monitor.

It's not going to happen unless you "upgrade" your LCD panel. :p

    Sorry.

Use an external monitor, or take apart your lcd and put a higher res lcd in, but that would be a waste of money, alternatively, sell it and get another one with 1600*1200
