Is there anything that can be done to get fuller/more sound from laptop speakers? Are there better drivers to be downloaded or is the only option to buy a soundcard? As with most laptops, my speakers are pretty anemic and it makes watching DVDs suboptimal.

Also, has anyone swapped their stock speakers for higher quality aftermarket (internal) ones, or is this not feasible and everyone just gets desktop speakers?

    Any info is appreciated :)

Swapping internal speakers wouldn't be a good idea - you'd have to take apart your whole notebook and the opertation could very easily turn into a mess if you don't know what you're doing. Basically, you're going have to buy external speakers for better sound quality. The only decent internal speakers I've heard and seen are the ones on the Toshiba Qosmio line.
