You can buy them refurbished here: http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/store.html

I have a z81sp (type III mxm) and was wondering if anybody could tell me how upgrading an mxm card works out.

This is one of the reason why I bought the Z81SP. I hope it is not too complicated.

I think that if there is a major problem it will first come from the BIOS. The card will fit in the chassis, but there is a question concerning the power consumption and heat factor. In theorie, it should be the easiest thing in the world, but it mainly depend of how the MXM standard have been respected when asus build the Z81SP (the refurbished card also).

But some person should know more than me and I can't wait to see their answers.

    À bientot !
