Hey, I just got a Pinnacle PCTV HD Ultimate Stick for my LapTop and I was able to set it up fine and everything works. But I was wondering if I could record my PS3 gameplay. If you all know how, then please reply back telling me what I need and how to do it. I just bought that Tuner so I don't exactly want to go out an buy another Tuner so if I could use this one, that would be great. Thanks.

If your tuner has AV inputs (Red, White, and Yellow) you can use those. Unfortunately, this will only be 480i (SD) and not Hi-Def or digital. You would simply use your preferred recording application (I have always like Virtual VCR w/ the Lagarith codec, but this eats up a lot of space).

The best option would of course be HDMI, but the PS3 enforces HDCP (even on games), and this complicates things.

The only High Def option I know would be a component video 1080i capture card. These are still quite rare and rather expensive, but it's the only effective way to capture HD from a normal PS3 (I believe game reviewers may have a special HDCP disabled version).

Thanks, but I already found my answer.

"You need a composite or S-video connection from your PS3 and a female stereo RCA-to-headphone jack cable or adapter to connect the PS3 to the Ultimate Stick. In WinXP, you can use Windows Movie Maker to record. The Vista version of WMM doesn't support recording from anything other than a video camera. You can try Media Player Classic, or Virtual Dub (both free downloads) to capture from the Ultimate Stick, but setting them up to record and compress can be complicated if you're new to it all. Good luck."
