    Hello

I have a z81sp which has an mxm TIII 6800go and so could theoretically upgrade to a type III x1800 or 7950go. I called my reseller to ask if I could send it to him for the installation and he said that he was pretty sure (not positive) that the upgrade wouldn't work.

Has anybody confirmed whether or not the z81sp can support an MXM upgrade???

It's ASUS MXM type, meaning only an upgrade that ASUS made would fit - but I've never heard of ASUS making one that was fully upgradeable. It was released when MXM/AXIOM was 'hot stuff' but that technology has since died down and almost no brands nowadays use it due to various reasons.
