    How impatient are you?
No matter what, i highly doubt anyone would regret the investment, but many wouldn't regret the 5400+$$. If you are impatient, definitely get it. If not, either one will do.

Loving it. I switched out my 120gig 5400rpm system drive on my Thinkpad for this one. Everything is just so much faster.

Its definitely worth the investment by itself, but on my laptop I was able to put that 5400rpm drive in my Ultrabay so it helped alleviate the pain of shelling out $250 :D Now my 5400rpm hosts my VMWare images.

I have two of them in my dv9500t. Loving every minute of it. This drive is the fastest 2.5" drive money can buy. period.

No 5400 rpm drive even comes close. Not even the latest 250 GB 5400 drives.

The hard drive is the slowest component in any computer - why make matters worse buy using a slow drive? Buy a fast drive and watch your entire system become faster.
