    The attached image is below. I got the cord with my ASUS Lamborghini VX2S and it's been eluding me as to what its function is. I was thinking its an audio output for when you're using VGA. The cord itself plugs into the S-Video port, but has another connection on the other end, so go figure. Any help?

    S-video out for tv's. (Video only)

    Use macro mode on your camera for close up shots ;)

    Could you please clarify? I realize it is an S-Video out cable, however, it only has one S-Video connector. The other end seems to be an a/V jack. How would I go about setting up and using it?

    S-video out is only video, no audio. Thats why theres only 1 hole

    Use a A/V cable but just use the video cable (yellow).

    You'd plug an analog cable into the other end and that into the TV, it's for hooking your laptop to a TV. As flipfire said, video only.
    Yellow = video
    White/Red = audio L/R

    Kool, I figured it was along those lines. However, when I do so nothing seems to happen. Do you have to manually enable this output? Since, nVidia's Control Panel doesn't show any option for it. i.e.- when i plug in via VGA or HDMI I automatically see a notification that I'm connected to an external display.

    It should be one of those Fn+F* key to switch LCD/CRT-out shortcut on your keyboard. Some laptops will output to the s-video out at the same time than the CRT out, if not you'll have to go into your display properties settings.

    With mine you need to have the cable plugged into both the laptop and TV prior to loading Windows. Then it loads the TV automatically.
