Can't confirm compatibility with Intel's 310 series Soda Creek mini SSDs and standard mPCI-E slots, has anyone worked with these to confirm? Newegg reviews are promising for systems that were built with mini SSDs in mind apparently.

I believe the manufacture has to set up the mPCI-e interface to handle MSATA. I only know some Thinkpads and Dell Latitude has this feature. Haven't heard anything about consumer level adoption.

If it isn't set up for mSata, it won't work. It will not be able to go into your wifi mPCI-e slot, for example.

I fitted one of those drives to an Asus EP121 and it improved boot speed from 20 seconds to 16 seconds. Fantastic drive.

(I tweaked the machine to an inch of its life)
