Hi all,
It's apparent that this laptop (Aorus X7) is coming with a non-removable battery. In my experience, laptop batteries tend to diminish over time.
My question; what are your experiences with non-removable batteries? Are they a deal breaker and what can be done prevention-wise?
Cheers!

All "non removable batteries" are in fact removable. In my AW 17 (and the new X7) you just unscrew the bottom cover and the batter is attached via 2 screws and a cable. And yes you can buy replacements. Some manufacturers void the warranty if you open up the bottom (hopefully not Gygabyte/Aorus) but by the time the battery is degraded that far it will be long out of warranty anyway. -

Yes you can remove and replace it no issue. It's easily accessed, and just unplugs from the mainboard.
Gigabyte does not void the warranty if you remove the bottom panel. I've requested from them details on what does and does not void the warranty.
