    Hi all,

It's apparent that this laptop (Aorus X7) is coming with a non-removable battery. In my experience, laptop batteries tend to diminish over time.

My question; what are your experiences with non-removable batteries? Are they a deal breaker and what can be done prevention-wise?

    Cheers!

All "non removable batteries" are in fact removable. In my AW 17 (and the new X7) you just unscrew the bottom cover and the batter is attached via 2 screws and a cable. And yes you can buy replacements. Some manufacturers void the warranty if you open up the bottom (hopefully not Gygabyte/Aorus) but by the time the battery is degraded that far it will be long out of warranty anyway.
