I have done some searching and have been unable to find any Arctic Silver application instructions for the gpu. I have a e1705 with a go 7900gs and want to cool her down.

Did I miss finding the the thread? Can anyone tell me where to apply it?

    Thanks

Same as with a CPU. You apply it on top of the chip itself, on the surface that has contact with the heatsink.

But there's no guarantee it'll give you lower temps. If the manufacturer has done their job properly in the first place, it won't be necessary, and there'll be nothing to be gained.
