    1TB 2.5 drives have been available for a year now, any ETA on the next generation?

    LOL. They haven't even gotten the current 2.5in 1TB drives to where they can mass produce them yet. They need to shrink to 9.5mm height to be a feasible mass production product. Once that happens, you might see a 2.5in 1.2-1.5TB 12mm height 2.5in external pocket drive. I'd say at least another year, unfortunately.

    They're getting close to 1tb 9.5mm drives now. Toshiba have announced one and we already have 750gb 9.5mm drives!

    long way off... for now the best u can get are 1TB 5400rpm drives in 12.7mm size... in 2.5inch...
