uhh. i don't understand what you are really asking.
do you have an older cpu that you want to upgrade to santa rosa?
no. but if its any consolation the santa rosa cpu's aren't really any different at all. they are still core 2 duo cpu's.
you want to upgrade a santa rosa cpu to something else? welll, santa rosa is the most up to date atm so there is no reason to upgrade, but if/when you do, it would most likely be possible. no guarantee of course. -
like are the new santa rosa processors upgradable to another processor?(like another C2D)socket m Core 2 duo
-
Santa Rosa uses Socket P, older generation Core 2 Duo chips use Socket M. -

The cpu is of little importance when it comes to upgradability. The chipset, BIOS, motherboard and the whether the cpu is socketed or soldered onto the motherboard are more important than what cpu you have on board. Typically if you get a Santa Rosa Core 2 Duo you should be able to upgradre to a faster Santa Rosa Core 2 Duo without any issues.
Are the santa Rosa Processors...
