    My monitor has the same, but the lines and the (huge) spots are black. Your screen is actually still workable while mine isn't.

    So i put the dell 17 in ultrasharp external, but i can only select 1024X768... Am i doing something wrong? I can do longer see the laptop screen now, as it broke even more... :( Also, the img on the laptop screen was all over the place.... F!

    I have the 14.1 XGA but it had this screen as a option... the 15 inch SXGA as he listed it as...

    Also I calmed down a hair, and got the external screen at the correct res. I had to click around in the ppts.

    Oh, it happen because i put to much pressure there..... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    More i think about it, im almost happy it happened.. Because it HATED the look of this 14.1 inch screen, the 15 inch like 100 times better, with out the 1 inch border..

    The 15" XGA display assembly should be plug and play, but the 15" SXGA+ may be incompatible and/or require a new flex cable.
